  My partner and I stayed at The Marine last week for two nights, We were impressed by the beautiful building, our state of the art room was spotless and comfortable, we enjoyed a breathtaking sea view and excellent gourmet meals.

  Dear Marine, once again a great evening on Friday 27th March at the Marine, sitting in the downstairs restaurant with the "Pop up Band " and great food ! The Total voice choir section "The Golfers" had a challenge from within the choir and the result was a draw. The rest of the evening was fun with the Band singing and playing and people dancing with the help of the choir leaders Christine and Victoria.
  As for the Marine, brilliant Staff, Greg the manager, Kellie was magnificent ,Mandy excellent and the young lad waiting on was a success.

  Just back from The Marine. It's an amazing place to stay offering a select number of lovely rooms that are modern, fresh and offer all that you need for a fabulous few days escape including the impressive Hurst Suite that has its own self catering option and wonderful balcony with stunning views. Your stay is looked after by a welcoming, relaxed yet attentive team that are as much or as little as you need, allowing you the freedom to come and go to what feels like your very own heavenly seaside space. There is a simple beach cafe serving meals and drinks and also the fine dining option of The Blue Horizons restaurant. But what makes this place truly unique and outstanding is a location that is second to none. The views over the Isle of White are breathtaking and you are literally a few steps from the beach and seafront walks. A truly great place to spend a few magical days.

  We had a very special lunch with friends here last week, enjoyed the food, service and the stunning views.
  Now returning for Dinner this week with our house guest.
  
  Well, we went to Dinner last night, and we were a rather disappointed. Very little choice and not much difference between the A la Carte menu and the Lunch set menu. Only one Vegetarian and one Fish dish available.To be greeted and told in a casual offhand way that the Sole was ' off ' the menu because they were so busy lunch time, felt rather hard luck for us. It seems they had not made the effort to find something else for the evening Diners, who have to pay rather more than at lunch time. Pity.
